All hand cut, this is the first layer of the tiara.

A second layer was added to create depth and to fuse the glass in order to make it one whole piece.

The frit and powder in place before being put into the kiln.

Result of the coloring.

For my final step, I slumped it over a glass bowl in order to create a tiara shape. Unfortunately, the kiln was set at too high a temperature and it melted off the bowl and onto the base. Though it ended in a failure of sorts, I am proud of my process in creating this, and I consider the project as a whole to be a success.
